The weather here has been unbelievable! It has been high 60s, sunny, and just perfect. Usually the winters are rainy and wet, but so far I've been feeling like we are living back in southern California. (Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration. It's not likes it's warm enough to go to the beach, but still!) We loaded up Lucas and went to the middle school down the street with our neighbors to let the kids run wild. It's a great spot with a large blacktop for wagon and bike rides, and a huge field of grass for them to go nuts. The best part is that it's fenced in so that kiddos can run around with little worry for them to escape! :)

After running around for quite some time we went to Starbucks so mommy could get an afternoon pick me up. Daddy and Lucas got a snack also.

Daddy goes back to work tomorrow and we have so enjoyed all of the time he has had off over the holidays. We will miss having him home so much. Hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend!
