Christmas 2015

Christmas Eve and ready for church. This year Lucas was in the Christmas pageant at church again, and was a shepherd. He was a little nervous, but did great and had a lot of fun.

{31.5 weeks pregnant with our surprise}

Christmas morning the boys were up bright and early! They both were so excited to see what Santa had brought. This was the first year Caleb understood what was going on and it was so much fun to watch the magic in both of them. When we went out to the tree to see what Santa had brought, Caleb spotted his gift and said, "Santa bring me new scooter!" We opened stalkings and gifts, then took the boys to the garage for one last gift, a trampoline from Matt and I. They both were so surprised, climbed right in to jump, and kept hugging each other. Lucas kept saying, "This is the best Christmas," and "I love you brother." It was so sweet watching their excitement and joy together.

Visiting Santa

Lucas wrote his own Christmas list this year and could not wait to deliver it to Santa himself. He worked hard at his writing, and when it was time read Santa his letter. He then placed it in the mail box so Santa would have it as a reference.
Caleb was not afraid of Santa this year, and was a ham and a half for pictures. Gammy and Papa were in town for a short visit so they got to visit Santa with us too.

{He spelled his middle name all by himself :)}

Ugly Sweater Run

My friend Cali and I did an Ugly Christmas Sweater 5k. Being about seven months pregnant, it was more of a walk/jog, but was still a lot of fun. Cali brought her two little ones, and I brought Caleb with me for a special date. The kids enjoyed the hot chocolate and running around in the park.

3rd Annual North Pole Breakfast

We had our third annual North Pole Breakfast. This has quickly become one of my favorite traditions. To kick off Christmas our Elf comes from the North Pole, bringing us treats and small gift. The gift usually consists of Christmas pajamas for the kids and a new book. Lucas and Caleb were very excited to see that Vern had returned and was on the look our for good behavior.

The boys were so sweet opening their gift together and playing with our little Christmas music box. The magic of Christmas is in the air!
