Aerospace Museum

In February I tried to take Caleb to the Aerospace Museum for his birthday. We got there to find out that it opened later than we thought, and we didn't have time to stay because we had to get Lucas from school. I said we'd come back another time, so we did. It took about a month to follow up on that promise, but on the last day of Spring break, before Lucas headed back to school, we headed to see the planes.

As I've said before, Caleb loves, loves airplanes. He gets so excited when he hears one flying over and exclaims, "Plane! Plane!" He loves walking around and seeing all of the different planes and helicopters, especially the one he could climb in himself.

Happy late birthday trip Cal Cal!

Spring Break 2015

We had a great spring break filled with lots of cousin time and unstructured days of play! Unfortunately some of our end of the week plans had to be cancelled due to Lucas coming down with a horrible fever that lasted almost five days. The last couple days were instead spent having movie time and popsicles.

{Surprise donut trip to start the week off right!}

{Feeling so crummy he had me hand feeding him his popsicle.}

Besides getting sick at the end of the week we had a wonderful spring break!

Easter 2015

Celebrating holidays with children makes every holiday so much fun. Lucas was sick with a nasty fever this Easter, so he stayed home from church, but was able to participate in most activities as his motrin kicked in.
This year both boys were interested in dying Easter eggs. Lucas was very particular about which colors he wanted, while Caleb was more making a mess and in the process of coloring his hands.

Making chocolate nests has become a fun tradition with the boys. They especially like to taste test the cadbury eggs to make sure they are good enough to use.

Lucas woke up so excited Easter morning to see if the Easter bunny had come. He kept peeking out the windows looking for eggs, and showing Caleb.

After our family egg hunt, Caleb and I headed off to church. I was so bummed Matt and Lucas weren't with us, but we enjoyed a beautiful service, and Caleb even got to hunt for more Easter eggs before the rain started.

Such a handsome little fellow!

We headed over to Matt's mom and stepdad's house for Easter dinner, and you guessed it, another egg hunt with cousins.

Happy Easter!!
