We had such a great time in Phoenix. It was so much fun watching Lucas and Avery together. As usual, our time with them was way too short, but we enjoyed every minute! The first day we were there we took the kids to a splash pad park in Tempe. The both had a blast! Jamie takes great pictures so most of these pictures are from her! Thank you Jamers for capturing these moments with our babies!!
Both kids loved the water. Once Lucas discovered the little water slide he was in heaven! Avery had no qualms with being the little one there... she kept up just fine!
Since the day we found out that Jamie was having a girl we have joked about Lucas and Avery getting married one day. It's so amazing to me to see these two together. Jamie is one of my best friends in the world, and I just love that our kids will grow up together.

Auntie Jamie and Uncle Justin have a pool which means we did a lot of swimming! Lucas and Avery are both in swim lessons and both love the water. They had a lot of fun splashing around together!
The main reason for our trip to Phoenix was to celebrate miss Avery's 1st birthday! Last year I went to visit shortly after she was born, and I'm so happy we were able to make the trip out to celebrate her special day! Her birthday theme was Dr. Seuss and Jamie did an amazing job with her party! These pictures hardly do justice to just how adorable everything was!

Our last morning there was spent with some time at the park, and more playtime together before we had to say goodbye. Lucas's face just kills me in the picture! haha
I love this picture of them playing together. It melts my heart... even if they don't fall in love one day they will always have each other's back!
