Celebrating holidays with children makes every holiday so much fun. Lucas was sick with a nasty fever this Easter, so he stayed home from church, but was able to participate in most activities as his motrin kicked in.
This year both boys were interested in dying Easter eggs. Lucas was very particular about which colors he wanted, while Caleb was more making a mess and in the process of coloring his hands.
Making chocolate nests has become a fun tradition with the boys. They especially like to taste test the cadbury eggs to make sure they are good enough to use.
Lucas woke up so excited Easter morning to see if the Easter bunny had come. He kept peeking out the windows looking for eggs, and showing Caleb.
After our family egg hunt, Caleb and I headed off to church. I was so bummed Matt and Lucas weren't with us, but we enjoyed a beautiful service, and Caleb even got to hunt for more Easter eggs before the rain started.
Such a handsome little fellow!
We headed over to Matt's mom and stepdad's house for Easter dinner, and you guessed it, another egg hunt with cousins.
Happy Easter!!
